Welcome to ClickNFix. ClickNFix provides professional home repair, cleaning, and outdoor maintenance services.
Our home repair services include electrical work, plumbing, painting, masonry, roofing, A/C and heating system services, decoration, flooring, and window/shutter repairs.
Our home cleaning services include general cleaning, glass cleaning, carpet cleaning, and laundry services.
Our outdoor services include garden maintenance, pool maintenance, insect control, and gate repair and maintenance.
Whether you need repairs, cleaning, or outdoor maintenance, ClickNFix connects you with trusted professionals to get the job done efficiently and reliably.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application,
website, and related services. By accessing or using ClickNFix services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Personal Information
When you use our services, we may collect:
- Name
- Mobile number
- Email address
- Profile photo
- Saved addresses and locations
- Booking and service details
1.2 Service Information
To provide home repair services, we may collect:
- Service requests and booking history
- Uploaded photos related to repair issues
- Emergency service requests
- Vendor and technician communication details
- Customer support conversations
1.3 Payment Information
Payments are securely processed through third-party payment gateways such as Stripe.
We do not store your complete debit card, credit card, CVV, or banking credentials.
1.4 Automatically Collected Information
- Device type and operating system
- IP address
- Approximate location (based on network or GPS when permission is granted)
- App version and crash logs
- Device push notification token (for sending notifications)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information for:
- Creating and managing user accounts
- Processing bookings and service requests
- Connecting customers with nearby technicians
- Providing same-day and emergency home services
- Sending booking confirmations and notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)
- Enabling customer-vendor communication
- Processing payments securely
- Improving app performance and user experience
- Preventing fraud and unauthorized activity
- Providing customer support
3. Location Information
ClickNFix uses location services to provide accurate and fast home repair services. Location access helps us:
- Find nearby service professionals
- Show services available in your area
- Provide accurate address selection suggestions
- Enable emergency home assistance
- Improve booking and technician dispatch accuracy
Important disclosure regarding location access: Location is accessed only while you are actively using the app (foreground mode). We do not collect location data when the app is closed or running in the background. You can disable location access at any time through your device settings, but this may affect our ability to find nearby technicians or provide accurate address suggestions.
We only access your location after receiving your explicit permission. Location permission is requested at the time of your first booking or when you manually search for nearby technicians. You may deny or withdraw permission at any time, but certain features like technician proximity matching will be limited.
4. Permissions We Use
- Location Permission (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION): Used for finding nearby technicians, address suggestions, maps, and emergency support (foreground only).
- Camera Permission: Used to allow users to capture and upload repair issue photos, profile pictures, service verification images, and other images required for app functionality. Camera access is only initiated by the user and is not used in the background.
Photos & Media Access (System Photo Picker / WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE on Android 10 and below): Used only to allow users to select and upload images such as profile pictures, repair issue photos, and service-related images within the app. Access is initiated by the user and limited to the photos they choose to upload. On Android 13 and above, the app uses the system photo picker, which provides access only to selected photos. On Android 10 and below, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE may be used to support image selection and upload functionality. The app does not access, scan, collect, or monitor the user's entire photo library.
- Storage & Gallery Permission (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): This permission is used to allow users to capture and upload photos of repair issues, profile pictures, and service verification images directly within the app. Camera access is initiated only when the user chooses to take a photo and is never used in the background. The app does not access the camera without user interaction or consent.
Photos & Media Access:
Used to allow users to select and upload profile pictures, repair issue photos, and service verification images. Access is initiated by the user and limited to the files they choose. The app does not access or scan the user's entire photo library.
- Notification Permission: Used for booking updates, payment confirmations, service reminders, and chat notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
- Internet Permission: Required for communication with our servers and app functionality.
5. Third-Party Services
We may integrate with trusted third-party services including:
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): Used exclusively for sending push notifications (booking updates, payment confirmations, service reminders, and chat messages). We do not use Firebase Analytics or any other Firebase services.
- Google Maps API & Google Places API: Used for address search and maps display (no location tracking or storage).
- Stripe Payment Gateway: Used for secure payment processing.
- Pusher Chat Services: Used for real-time messaging between customers and technicians.
These services may process your information according to their own privacy policies.
6. Information Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. Your information may be shared only:
- With technicians/vendors to complete requested services
- With payment providers (Stripe) for secure payment processing
- When legally required by government authorities or law
- To protect the safety, rights, and security of users and services
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:
- Secure server communication (TLS encryption)
- Authentication and access controls
- Encrypted data transmission
- Secure payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant partners like Stripe)
However, no digital platform can guarantee complete security. We encourage you to protect your account credentials.
8. Data Retention
We retain information for:
- Active accounts: As long as the account remains active
- Booking and transaction records: As required by applicable laws (up to 3 years for tax/legal compliance)
- Support conversations: For customer support and dispute resolution (retained for 1 year after resolution)
- Location data: Not stored persistently; used only in real-time for matching technicians and discarded after booking completion
- Push notification tokens: Stored while your account is active; deleted upon account deletion or app reinstallation
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account
- Withdraw permissions or consent
- Request a copy of your information
- Opt out of non-essential communications (you can disable push notifications in device settings)
10. Account Deletion and Data Retention (In-App & Request)
You may delete your ClickNFix account and all associated data at any time using the following methods:
- In-app deletion (preferred method): Navigate to Setting → Account Deletion Request. This action is irreversible and will permanently remove your personal information, saved addresses, and service history within 30 days.
- Email request: You may also request account deletion by contacting clicknfix.contact@gmail.com with "Account Deletion Request" in the subject line. Our support team will process your request within 7 business days.
Data retention after deletion: Upon account deletion, your profile information, saved addresses, authentication credentials, and push notification tokens will be deleted immediately. Booking history and transaction records will be anonymized and retained for 3 years to comply with legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Customer support chat logs will be deleted within 90 days of account closure. Payment information is never stored by us and is managed entirely by our third-party payment gateway (Stripe).
Grace period disclosure: During the 30-day period between account deletion request and permanent deletion, your data will remain accessible only to you if you choose to reactivate your account. After 30 days, all personal data is permanently deleted from our active systems. Backups may retain residual copies for up to an additional 30 days, after which they are fully erased.
Partial data deletion: You may also request deletion of specific data (such as individual addresses or uploaded photos) without deleting your entire account by contacting our support team.
11. Children's Privacy
ClickNFix services are not intended for individuals under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with information, please contact us immediately, and we will take steps to delete such information.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted within the app or website.
For material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify users through an in-app notification or push notification (via FCM) at least 30 days before the changes take effect, giving you sufficient time to review the updates.
Continued use of our services after updates means you accept the revised Privacy Policy.
13. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.
Any disputes arising under this policy shall fall under the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts in India.
14. Tracking and Advertising Identifiers (Google/Apple Compliance)
ClickNFix does not use your personal data for tracking across other applications, websites, or services owned by third parties. We do not share device identifiers, advertising IDs (such as IDFA or GAID), or any similar tracking identifiers with third parties for cross-app advertising or behavioral profiling purposes.
Firebase Usage Disclosure: We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) exclusively for push notifications. We do not use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, or any other Firebase data collection services. No advertising identifiers are collected or transmitted to Firebase.
If we introduce any tracking features in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required by applicable law or platform guidelines, obtain your explicit consent before enabling such tracking.
15. International Data Transfers
ClickNFix stores all user data on servers located within India. We do not actively transfer your personal information outside of India. However, some third-party services we use may process data on servers located in other countries:
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google): May process data on servers in the United States or other countries
- Google Maps & Places API: May process data on servers in the United States
- Stripe: May process data on servers in the United States or other countries where Stripe operates
When such transfers occur, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent legal mechanisms, to protect your information in accordance with applicable laws.
16. Additional Rights for Certain Jurisdictions
If you are a resident of California (USA) or the European Economic Area (EEA), you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, including:
- The right to opt out of the sale of personal information (ClickNFix does not sell your data)
- The right to limit use of sensitive personal information
- The right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

17. Subscription & Service Pricing
ClickNFix offers two service payment options for users:
- Pay Per Service: Users can request individual home services by paying €20 per service request.
- Monthly Subscription Plan: Users may purchase a €50 monthly subscription plan that allows unlimited service requests for 30 days from the date of purchase.
Subscription plans are non-transferable and valid only for the registered user account. ClickNFix reserves the right to modify pricing, subscription benefits, or service availability at any time.
Payments are securely processed through trusted third-party payment gateways. Subscription fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
